Yeah, my first and most complete character is my mesmer.
In GW1 we were looked at as useless
In GW2 we were looked at with wonder
In GW3 we might be the most important thing a group has
OUR time of ascension is almost here (although the noobs who dont know how to play mesmer still wont invite us... poor clueless non-mesmers ftL lol)
No dervish has anything on my mesmer. (on pvp weekend at least)

Maybe once you get halfway through the game...
personally, If I were to do this, Id take one monk and seven anythings (which would probably be like 4 dervishes, 2 paragons, and a mesmer/ranger/necro/ele)
i bet you a team of all dervishes and paragons would have a higher survival rate... especially considering many of us experienced players already have our core class characters.
Id like to say id race you to the finish, but Ill probably get my paragon to level 20 and spend the next 6 months in RA (not literally, but you get the idea)
Although, I will try to message you if i can remember to-> with a focused group, I might be able to stay focused myself!
And... I do plan on finally making a Ranger primary with my 3rd extra slot... so maybe it wont be TOO hard to get experienced people who want to make a core class for the first time... only time will tell.
Considering everyone and their mothers will be playing dervish, why not just make an 8 man power-derv team?

Thats not the point, I need a group that can proceed through the whole game, and therefore asx always eventually you will need at least 2 monks. This build is flexible, more of a guide really. The warrior could easily be switched fr a dervish, and the ranger/ele/necro for a mesmer or eeven a second offensive paragon.
Indeed no matter what class you wish to play if you are interested put forward the fact.

ok
Like I said, endgame stuff does usually work best with two healers- so I do agree with you. (EDIT- I think originally I forgot to include my opinion that dervishes and paragons are good at self-healing, hope that clears up my somewhat vague post )
I just know some people really really only ever allow certain builds/classes into their groups... I was only asking because I do have interest.
Just trying to make the point that most of us who have been playing for a while, if making a new character, will 66% be one of the new classes.
Its SO long away-> but yeah planning is 90% of the win, so I hope I didnt come off as negative in my post.

huh... this sounds kinnda fun I am willing to join your party but I will not be making a new char my monk always comes first so I will be bring my tyia monk to Night Fall if your willing to take a lvl 20 monk with all tyia and canthan elites and reguler skills I am all your's you will just have to let me know when to meet you.
ps.. I dont use vent/ts if I want to hear some one complain about some thing they will have to type it out for the simple reason of its wasting your time by typing it for wasting my time for reading it.. and also for the main reason I like to read what others say so it gives me time to think of the Q or what ever it was in vent/ts it feels like I have to respond right then and their.

LOL this is exactly why people get bored of GW so fast. I'll say this, if any of you who rush through the game and then say there bored later on, i'll just link this thread to yours and say this....you brought this on yourself.
If this is your attempt to capitilize on the "market of GW" thats a waste, because you don't need to rush and ruin the game to make money.
I didnt rush through either chapter, I didn't really go slow either. But I still made tons of money.
Ah well, I would at least be surprised if you do it in 2 days. I'm placing my bets with some friends :P

Well I rushed though factions and I did not capitilize on any of the end game greens like so many did. The only reason why I dont mind rushing though a game is so when ever a friend needs a monk I can be their for them. But all my other chars I take my time on.
And also I still have not gotten bored of GW due to the fact I have 6 soon to be 8-9 chars to play with. I do all quest and evry mission then I go around getting elites and other skills and learn new builds and make my own builds. I dont think I'll ever get bored since my main goal is to get evry char all skills/elites of evry profession and to get all/most of the max titles. And A-Net is making that job even longer with new chapters every 6 months lol.
To the ppl that say they are bored of the game is mostly becouse they beat the game but have not unlocked evry skill and all chars with evry skill in evry profession and got evry title to the max. So in all they havnt beaten the game just the story part of it..
but I do agree with you two days is a short amont of time I just wanna see if I for one can do it and if hes looking for some one to help I am willing to help

cool, "heroes", now i can log in to a multiplayer game to experience content alone.
sometimes, GW just seems backward.
anyhow, if this all pans out im up for rolling out a fresh new Nightfall ele for the cause. heh.
edit: oh, yeh, got ts/vent. kinda pointless without being able to communicate efficiently.

he said new characters.. and sin and rit are not core class's!! so you won't be able to make NEW sins or rits in nightfall... That is why they are not included in the list

To the OP:
Wishing you luck on this; promise to post pics along the way if you can. Is your group looking to just finish, or will you be purchasing armor/weapons/etc. along the way? I think it would be pretty cool if we could all get a look at the things you encounter along the way, if you have time to post such things...

Good looks like I am starting to get a few people interested.
For your information we will be using my vent channels. I personally will be intending to purchase 15k armour if the oppurtunity comes up during the play. I have Fraps and will be taking footage of interesting things (including the final mission) and will post screenshots up every two hours.
About boredom, I don't play alot of PvE these days anyway, being obssessed with GvG and having finished factions with all 5 chars I have.

I will be getting the presale package and get into the game in the 24 hr preview. I did this same thing in Factions and let me say I am a machine.
Resume:
1600hrs in 8 months
lvl 20 heal, prot, bond, 55, echo 55,
concentration 55, or regular 55monk
lvl 20 runner or tank warrior
lvl 20 poison, interrupt, bp, or trap ranger
lvl 20 mm, blood, or SS necro
lvl 20 wind, water, earth, or fire elementalist
lvl 20 illusion, or domination mesmer
I have 1000k to buy plenty or armor and runes as i go in Nightfall.
Most importantly i am a 25 y/o Night security guard.
I am your perfect choice for versatility and motivation. I will just leave one of my officers in charge of the guild while im gone.
If you are interested my IGN's are
Kurt The Quick
Kurt The Friend
Kurt The Somber
Kurt The Behemoth
Kurt The Temporary
Kurt The Heat Death
Kurt The Leader
Kurt The Lazy
Kurt The Omniscient
Kurt The Clever
etc.....
the top six are the ones im always on. the other 12 are my mules. I know what you are thinking. I play too much.
My preference character choice is monk. I play the health bars like a piano. It's a symphony of heals.

Well, if you need a ranger. I volunteer. I will have university but i think i'll still be able to play 3-5 hours a day. Need to beat it as quikly as possible :P
I could play as something else, but i'd prefer a ranger since as of now i'm planning ranger to be char no. 1 i run through the storyline with. In case you do not need another ranger i can volunteer as a paragon (second choice).

Hey OP,
I noticed that you put "interested" next to my name. Dude just count me in. I am the best monk in GW. Not kidding, you would laugh if you saw the regular noobish bp groups that I single handedly get thru ToPK. PvE healing is my art. I heal so fast that sometimes I don't even notice my own movements. I have "lightning reflexes". If you doubt me, just message me IG and come on a ToPK run with me. Or we could do Thunderhead keep. I monk that for guildies all the time.
PS. Plus, you don't have to worry about me being available because I will be taking vacation for the weekend of the 28th. Lol, taking vacation just to play a video game defines me as a total nerd.
